- If you are using Watch Series 5 or above you can select the Always On option to stop the Next Button from falling back to Clock/Home Screen. To select this, go to Watch Settings -> General -> Return to Clock and choose the 1 Hour option.
- Also, make sure that in Display & Brightness Settings, Always On functionality is enabled.
